High School Science Credits:
7/8th Grade - Earth Science | Must be Taking Pre-Algebra or Higher
8/9th Grade - Integrated Chemistry & Physics (Like Physical Science) | Recommended before Biology |Must be Taking Algebra 1 or Higher
9/10th Grade - Biology | No Math Prerequisite - Completion of Integrated Chemistry & Physics recommended
10/11th Grade - Chemistry | Must Be Taking Algebra 2 or Higher
11/12th - Saxon Physics | Must Be Taking Precalculus or Higher
🧪 Shormann Science Labs – Hands-On Required?
- ❌ Hands-on labs are not required – though they are beneficial if you want.
- 🎥 DIVE Video Labs – watching the lab videos and completing the activity pages gives an excellent college-prep experience.
- 📝 Transcript Credit – These labs can be listed on your student’s transcript as a lab science credit.
